Redeemed from the Curse of the Law - 3

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; ......

Remember that according to 1 Peter 1:18-20, we've been redeemed from the curse of the law by the blood of Jesus.
We were initially not entitled to the blessings pronounced in the bible to the Israelites, being considered as gentiles or heathen, but when Christ came he removed the middle wall of separation. This meaning that  we who were considered gentiles in the flesh are now equally entitled to the covenant blessings of Abraham.

11.Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh--who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands--
12.that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
13.But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
14.For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,
15.having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,
16.and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.
17.And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near.
18.For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
19.Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, - Eph 2:11-19

Let's look at some more scriptures that talk about our redemption by the blood of Jesus
Ephesians 1:7 says that in Him(Christ Jesus), we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
1Pe 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Eph 2:12-13 KJV 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
What is the curse of the Law?
The curse of the law can well be defined in the books of the law which are found in the Old Testament.
These books show us the curses for breaking the law, which curse are threefold: Poverty, Sickness, and Spiritual death.

We shall look at this in the next post on the same subject

Redeemed from the curse of the Law

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us” (Gal. 3:13); this having opened the way “that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (v. 14). One of the most embarrassing situations for any businessman is to find out he has lost vast sums of money needlessly or to learn of assets he could have been enjoying for years simply because he did not know the fullness of the contracts he had entered into. There's a story of a poor man who scrimped and saved every cent until he could buy a ticket on a great ship to come to America. He only had enough money left to buy some cheese and a little bread to eat on the trip. He would gaze longingly into the dining rooms and watch the people eat the beautiful food and enjoy themselves so. On the morning of their New York arrival, one of the ship's officers asked the man if they had offended him in any way since he ...
